Somewhat faded from its original grandeur, the hall, built in 1914 as a music room, has been used as a banqueting hall, badminton court, gym, theatre and dance space. There is a mobile platform stage and wall bars can be pulled out to 90 degrees to create smaller spaces. The hall has a sprung wooden floor, tall shuttered windows on three sides and a good lighting system. It provides a flexible space for a variety of events. |
