DESCRIPTION:Calling all creatives!   \n…and people that like a cheeky beer on a Friday night! \nOur Pop-Up Pub and Open Mic kicked off again indoors last month and is BACK again on 26th November. \nWe have 6-8 slots\, 5 mins spoken word and 10 mins music – with an occasional longer feature act. \nThe pub pops up at 8pm and the acts at 8.30pm. \nCheck out the video on instagram or Facebook for a taster…\nLet us know here if you’re planning to come and we’ll save a spot for you!

The event might look and feel a little different to years gone by but there will be no shortage of fantastic\, locally-produced art to take in (and take home!).  \nWe will have three artists debuting their work at Canon Frome Court during the event on 4th-12th September. Along with myself\, we will exhibit vibrant\, mixed media work by Janet Austen an NHS worker who has resurrected her creative passion over the three lockdowns. And finally painter/printmaker\, Elizabeth Perry\, has recently relocated to Ledbury from Cornwall. DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand! \nDiscover the joy\, freedom and challenge of Improv. Learn to be more creative and more playful in a fun\, friendly\, stress-free environment. \nComplete beginners are welcome – Once you have completed the Beginners’ Workshop you can do the Improvers’ Workshop which will be held in the afternoon on the same day. Please book a ticket for each workshop that you would like to attend. \nYou don’t need any drama\, acting\, comedy or improv experience whatsoever. You don’t have to be clever\, fast or funny either! Also good for writers\, actors and comedians looking to widen their skills and boost their confidence. \nImprov is not the same as stand-up; you’re not alone on stage and it’s not about telling jokes or being really quick and witty. It’s about working together as a team with other improvisers to spontaneously create group stories\, scenes & sketches. \nLed by Jon Trevor\, founder and leader of Box of Frogs based in Birmingham\, who has been teaching and performing Improv for 10 years. \nIf you already attended the Beginners’ Workshop held on 30th November 2019 then you can go straight on to doing the Improvers’ Workshop. \nIn the Improvers’ Workshop we will learn some new games\, and build on the collaborative skills we learned in the Beginners’ Workshop.
