Hedge Laying Course
March 8 @ 10:00 am - March 9 @ 4:00 pm
Learn the traditional art of hedgerow management in the Midlands Style. This two day course will cover an introduction to the history of hedges, species ID, and the practice of laying – pleaching, staking and binding.You are encouraged to bring your own tools and PPE – silky saws, billhooks, axes, thick gloves and eye protection, if you have them.
Tools and PPE and will also be provided.
A lunch of bread and soup is included, please bring your own snacks and plenty of water.
Please wear warm and waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear.
