House Concert with The Rheingans Sisters
Doors open: 7.30pm

2016 winners of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Award ‘Best Original Track’ and nominees for ‘Best New Act’, The Rheingans Sisters make bold, playful and innovative contemporary music that is anchored in folk traditions without being bound by them.
Currently on a nationwide tour we’ll be welcoming Rowan & Anna for a short stay here at Canon Frome Court, as part of which they will be treating us to a house concert in our lovely Music Room.
Fiddle-singers and multi-instrumentalists, the sisters are well known on the folk circuit. Rowan is part of the BBC Folk Award nominated Lady Maisery, and has also worked with Nancy Kerr, Eliza Carthy and Karine Polwart. Anna is an expert in southern French music, and both have spent time studying fiddle music in Sweden & Norway.
