Singing Workshop with Alana Middleton and Georgie Buchanan

Come and sing with Georgie Buchanan and Alana Middleton! On their spring South West tour they will be visiting Canon Frome Court to hold a workshop to bring us together in song. They will be leading harmonies to a selection of uplifting and heart-warming folk songs from Georgie’s debut album, Wise as a Fool. There will also be moments of relaxation and connection to the voice and body. All welcome, no singing experience needed.

Inspired by voyages to the Outer Hebrides, tales of ancient Celtic Goddesses and great folk singers from Peggy Seeger to Joni Mitchell, Georgie Buchanan is a unique singer and harpist on the contemporary folk scene.

Alana Middleton is a folk singer, fiddle player and community music facilitator based in Leeds, and is inspired to hold spaces where we can celebrate our connection to each other and the land we live upon through music and song.

Coming together with a shared affinity with the natural world and musical expression, Georgie and Alana will be sharing the beauty of songs and stories to rural communities across the South West through gigs and workshops.
